The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and The Big Hungry Bear written by Audrey Wood and illustrated by Don Wood. Around our house it's known as 'The Strawberry Book.'
If you haven't read it yet I highly recommend you check it out. My two year old laughs out loud at the little mouse's depictive facial expressions. He also loves the conversational narration and anxiously anticipates the exciting exclamations like "Quick!" I love the detailed, colorful illustrations on every page.
It seems very appropriate that my food loving family would enjoy a book about a strawberry so much.
