~ capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~
{pretty}
Used my mom's sugar cookie recipe to make these heart shaped cookies for Valentine's Day with the boys. A little bit of nostalgia to complement my afternoon cup of tea this week.

35 weeks and 100% 'nesting' today. Since my oldest made his appearance at 37 weeks I don't take any chances. :)

At least there's a peep hole so 'the girls' can get a little sun.

My attempt at a prayerful, reflective Ash Wednesday.

ReplyDeleteAnd a new baby soon?
How wonderful!!!
Washing those tiny baby clothes was always one of my favorite things! : )
Have a cozy day.
Love seeing baby clothes washed and ready to go. It's such a good feeling! With our first three, the baby clothes were only washed right when the baby came home (or for the first round, after) because we adopted them all and didn't have advance notice. This go-round with pregnancy I'm so relishing the many many months to prepare the house, get baby things sorted and cleaned, and cook and freeze meals. It's rather relaxing to have preparation time instead of a mad after-the-fact dash with a screaming infant or two in hand!
ReplyDeleteYour cookies are so pretty! And your tea looks very inviting. Blessings to you also on your new baby to come.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post. Love those little clothes...so sweet! Prayers for the final weeks of your pregnancy and for a safe delivery of this precious little one. God bless!
