Strawberries and rhubarb: what a beautiful color combo!

For some reason, our gorgeous violet hydrangea did not bloom last year! :( Well, absence makes the heart grow fonder and I was extra excited to discover these beauties budding yesterday!

My sister and I introduced the boys to 'Go Fish' immediately after playing 'Duck Duck Goose' so now my oldest refers to this new card game as 'Go Go Fish.' I won't correct him because it makes me smile every time he says it!

A stormy summer afternoon was the perfect opportunity for us to go dinosaur hunting! I scattered dinosaurs throughout the house for the boys to hunt for & collect in a basket. Then we spread a blanket out and had a dinosaur picnic in the living room!

    What a fabulous pie! Strawberry rhubarb pie was my Dad's favorite! With ice cream of course! Hope the dinosaur picnic was grand!

    I think the next time I play Go Fish with any little's in my life I shall call it Go Go Fish too. Sounds more fun!
