~ capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~

I think I might love fabric more than sewing...

Thank you Richard Scarry for giving our children hours of happiness!

School in the bathroom while the littlest is in the tub.

It isn't often that the little ones and I leave the house for the day but when we do it is the best feeling in the world to come home to find a welcoming husband, dinner on the stove and a kitchen table looking like this. I am a very blest wife.

  2. I'm not a quilter or a sewer - but the scrapbooker in me loves the color and pattern of fabric too! I could totally get into playing with that part. Picking out patterns and then the right fabric to use. But the math, figuring, measuring - and then actual sewing - just don't work for me! Lol What a gift it must be to have though. ;)

Love the bathroom homework moment! So cute!

I remember loving those Richard Scarry books when I was a kiddo - and my kiddos loved them too! Classic.

Nothing more cozy than coming home to something like that final photo. Blessings and hope you're all staying nice and warm. xoxo

    1. Yes, as far as fabrics, color and pattern go, sewing is kind of like scrapbooking isn't it? And yes, the measuring and cutting are my LEAST favorite part!
