{weather outside:}
The sun has not made its appearance just yet but the forecast is predicting sunshine and mid-70's which sounds like a perfect late September day to me. After quite a bit of heat and humidity the past few weeks, yesterday was the first day with that little bit of crispness in the air and, even this summer loving girl must admit, that I enjoyed the cozy feeling enough that I think I'm ready for fall to begin on Wednesday.
{around my home:}
It's still pretty early so all my boys are still asleep. The window over the kitchen sink is open a crack so I can hear the crickets chirping outside and my kitty keeps rubbing against my legs as I sit at the kitchen table writing this.
{making me happy:}
My new apple scented candle. Perfect aroma as we transition into Autumn.

{on my mind:}
My littlest is approaching one of my favorite ages in babyhood: six months. Even though I didn't think it was possible, he just gets cuter and cuter every single day. His little smile brings so much joy into our home and his happy disposition reminds me live in joy throughout my busy day. Amazing how much you can learn from even the youngest of children.

Linking up with Sandra today:
Corn straight off the cob is HEAVEN! I'm right there with you. It's so quiet in my house right now...the husband is asleep, and the little one is sleeping off a cold. Have an amazing week :)
ReplyDeleteVisits with you always make me happy.
ReplyDeleteThey take me back to when my world was filled with the beauty of just us.
Alone in our little world.
Thank you for that, my friend.
And enjoy. As I know you do.
Happy Fall!
Happy week my Dear!
ReplyDeleteThat salad looks delish!! Great idea to add the corn. MMmmmmmm Your menu for the week sounds so good too. ;)
I love that you're getting on board for Fall! Yay for Laura joining my club. Lol!
I bet your sweetest Little is getting so big and adorable. Makes my heart pitter pat just reading you talk about him.
Blessings to you and your beautiful brood. xoxo
I love scented candles! Six months old is a precious age. Mine are 14 yrs and 8 yrs now and I've loved every stage they've been through :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
Colletta
I'm with Coletta- my girls are almost 5 + I have loved every age except almost 4... Lovely post!
DeleteYum...that salad looks amazing. And the creamy tortellini sounds delicious. My husband really enjoys pasta, so I should find a recipe for tortellini sometime. It's not one that I make very often!
ReplyDeleteI love fall scented candals. So cozy!
